Introduction

Long, long ago, I was known in my little circles for my poetry. I wrote many many little rhyming cute poems and I was happy! The trend didn't last, though, as I moved into college, and I quickly developed my own poetry style, which I'm kind of proud of. I still write little cutesy poems, say... for greeting cards I make, but in general, when I get my poem on, I now use a style filled with parenthesized tangents and freeish blankish verse. I think they're kinda neat, though I don't aim to be some deep meaning kinda poet. Feel free to try to divulge deep meaning from my stuff, but in general what I mean is right there on the surface. I think so, anyway. Just read and enjoy.

Nowadays, my focus is more on writing essays and the occasional short story, rather than poems, but a few new ones do come up from time to time, as I write them or nanofics during moments of boredom in class.

These poems are mostly posted in the Microsoft Word .doc format. This saves me from having to apply any effort to formatting them, as well as keeping the text of the poems from being searchable, which, I would think, is useful if I ever try to get these published. If you need something to read these, I highly suggest OpenOffice.
