Introduction

What is Nanofiction? I've heard it called many names, really. Flash Fiction. ShortShort Fiction. Once I even heard them called "Story Grenades" which is kinda a cool term. But basically, it's a story that's really small. Most places put at cap at 1000 words, but I end to put a barrier at about 250 or 500 when I write. It's something I do when I'm bored with a pencil and don't feel like writing a poem... some of them are really good, some are just kinda sad scribbles, but here they are. They won't take much of your time.

These nanofics are posted in the Microsoft Word .doc format. This saves me from having to apply any effort to formatting them, as well as keeping the text of the essays from being searchable, which, I would think, is useful if I ever try to get these published. If you need something to read these, I highly suggest OpenOffice.
